Room 5 has been working on reflecting on our learning in writing. Then we made a slideshow about our swimming progress. Mrs. Idle asked me to make a Screencastify of the slideshow. Here it is.
I was a student at Awahono School in Greymouth and this is where I shared my learning.

Lang’s Snowy Drive
In Room 5 we have been learning to describe a setting and introduce a character to the setting. We have been given a picture and we had to describe it and put a character in it. We have each done our own, and here is mine.
Lang’s Snowy Drive
As the plain yellow car slowly drove through the snow the road got more slippery as it went. It was winter in America and a very cold one at that. Even though the doors were thick the driver and passenger could still hear the blizzard wind howling outside. Lang was gazing at the snow rushing past the car window as he counted every second until they get there. Lang was a teenager, fourteen to be precise and he was in college. He was feeling bored because nothing had happened for two whole hours. He was looking forward to go ice skating on the lake and by every second passing he got more and more excited because they would soon arrive.
