Writing task (ghost)

I don’t think you should leave before the ghost hunt just because you are scared of ghosts. 
Here are my reason why you should stay. 

First off, you shouldn’t even be that scared of ghosts. What is to be afraid of them?
Sure they can jump scare you but they can’t even touch you so there is no reason to be afraid of them. 

Secondly, you might be able to see somebody you knew when they were alive.
Like imagine if you saw your great, great, great grandma or some famous like a president

Writing task (money)

I don’t think that you should tell everybody about how you won 3 million dollars in the lottery.
Here are my reason why.  

For reason one, If you tell everybody then somebody may steal some of that money.
You may think that people wouldn’t do that and most of the time you are right but every once in a
while there is a person who would steel from other people.  

For my second reason, everybody you know would be asking for little amounts of money
because you have such a great amount. If you say no then they will think that you are greedy and
maybe become not your friend.

for some of our homework while in isolation, our teacher assigned us a challenge to bake something. she also assigned us a template that we had to fill out. we made a chocolate cake. here it is:

dog leashes

For one of the writing prompts that our teacher gave us when school let out, I chose one were you have to complain about people with long leashes. Here it is: 

I am so tired of when people use very long dog leashes when they walk their dog through the park or anywhere in particular. Here are my two reasons why. 

First off, when I am riding around on my motorized scooter and a long leash gets stuck in the wheel so I crash or have to stop. Also, most of the time they act like it is my fault! It’s not always when your on your scooter, long leashes act as tripwires even when you are walking and they are still as annoying. 

Secondly, when dogs are on long leashes and they are untrained like they misbehave a lot, the owner can’t do much about it with a long leash when they start to do bad things. Lets say they run and knock into someone, you can stop that if you have a short leash. They also sometimes think they can do whatever they want because they feel like they are far enough away from their owner to not get in trouble when they do bad things. 

In conclusion, long dog leashes are bad because they create tripwires and the owner has next to no control over their dog.

Not to kill a deer

For one of the writing prompts our teacher gave us when school let out was to try and persuade your imaginary friend not to go hunting in a deer hunting club. Here is my writing:

Hey, you shouldn’t join that club! I have plenty of reasons why you shouldn’t join the deer hunting club for a passtime.


For one, It is unfair for the deer that you are hunting. They have done nothing against you and you just go and shoot them. Imagine how you would feal if you were just having a normal day at the park or home and suddenly a deer ran up to you and shot you with a gun (this is metaphorical, I don’t think deers can actually do this in real life).You can save deer lives by not joining that club.


And for second, you can just eat vegetables instead of meat. It is not that hard to buy veges at the store instead of meat. Because everytime you eat meat, you are eating a once living creature. And if you don’t want to buy fruit and veg then you can just make yourself a garden at your home for free nutritious food. If you worry about not getting enough iron because you aren’t eating meat there are actually lots of foods(that is not meat) that give you iron like beans, nuts chocolate etc.

Up the mountain

This is something that I did outside of school. I went up the mountain and stayed there for 1 whole day. There is and actual lake up there and also a big mountain range you can walk along. One of the days it was cloudy beneath us and gave everything a very cool blanket of clouds that we could look down upon. We got some pretty good photos and so I have made them into a collage. Here it is:

Reading activite
